Dr. Alfredo
I am a native of Chula Vista, having attended Bonita Middle School and graduated from UNI what is now Cathedral High School in 2002. I furthered my education at Universidad De La Salle Bajío in León, Guanajuato, Mexico, where I met my wife, Dr. Ruth Ripa, and graduated in 2010. I worked as a dentist in Tijuana while preparing for the California dental boards and have been practicing in San Diego ever since. With over 15 years of experience, I have completed courses in esthetics, smile design, digital dentistry, implants, full mouth rehabilitation, root canal treatment, orthodontics, and advanced Invisalign training, among others.
I am a proud father of two young boys and enjoy spending quality time with my family. I am an avid fan of Formula 1, soccer, and baseball, supporting the Padres, Arsenal, and SDFC and attend games whenever possible. Outside of my dental practice, I enjoy playing golf and cooking for friends and family.
I am a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, San Diego Dental Society, and hold a Fellowship with the International Dental Implant Association.
Dr. Ruth Ripa
Born in Guanajuato, Mexico, Dr. Ruth Ripa earned her dental degree in 2011 from Universidad de La Salle Bajío in León, Guanajuato, a university approved by the California Dental Board. It was there that she met her husband, Dr. Alfredo Ripa. She practiced dentistry in Guanajuato and Tijuana while preparing for her California dental board examinations and has been serving patients in Chula Vista since 2018. With more than 15 years of experience, Dr. Ripa is dedicated to helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles, with a focus on cosmetic dentistry, root canal treatment, and restorative dentistry.
Outside the office, Dr. Ripa enjoys spending time with her husband and their two young sons. She also values time with family and friends and enjoys exercising as part of a balanced lifestyle.
